WHAT is Brazilian Jiu Jiu jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for kids is a grappling‑based martial art that teaches children how to use leverage, balance, and body mechanics to control positions and apply safe, age‑appropriate submissions. Kids learn how to fall safely, escape holds, and move with confidence, all while practicing teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship. BJJ helps young students build problem‑solving skills, stay calm under pressure, and have fun on the mats.
What is No‑Gi Jiu Jitsu?
No‑Gi Jiu Jitsu is just like BJJ, but without the uniform. Kids train in shorts and a T‑shirt or rash guard, which makes the class faster and more movement‑based. They learn grips, balance, and quick transitions while building coordination and confidence.
